Today, I enlisted my mom and my sister as an excuse for an outing for a photo assignment. It was a beautiful day here on the west coast, a toasty 75 degrees. I read that Camellia flowers were in bloom this time of the year, so we headed out to Descanso Gardens, a little quaint botanical gardens off La Canada (close to Pasadena).
After seeing these beautiful flowers, I really want to plant some trees in my own home.
After we saw the beautiful Camellias, we headed over to the Santa Anita Aboretum where the beautiful and wonderfully scented Magnolias were blooming.
