Design Challenges

Challenge 1: Food Photography
I constantly drool over food photos in magazines. Some say, I eat with my eyes. I love the way fresh foods get prepared into delectable works of art before it gets consumed. I would like to capture that moment. This challenge is to create food photographs that is mouth watering and professional- I daydream of being a food photographer.

Challenge 2: Photography in general
When I travel, I love taking pictures of people, architecture, the landscape, and food. This is inspiration that helps me with my creative process.

Challenge 3: Random Design projects
As a creative, I like to dab in random design projects. I made a terrarium for a house warming gift. I bake sugar cookies decorated in holiday themes. I would like to take a sewing class and learn to make my own pencil skirts. I will oil paint a abstract landscape for our bedroom walls.

Challenge 4: Documenting Design process
I have to say, I think my day job is cool. Sometimes, the process is a journey itself. I design everything from Pace car wrap for the Grand Prix, to designing an environmental signage for Green Port Fest that is held once a year for 10,000 people. I would like to document my process- it looks so easy looking at the finished product, but some don't realize what it takes for a project to be successful.
