Hello, my name is Jen choi. I am a Sr. Designer.
I went to Art Center College of Design, majored in Advertising and went to work for The Walt Disney Company as a Designer in Global Consumer Products. Afterwards, I worked for a fashion company, Oliver Peoples as a Sr. Art Director and was responsible for photoshoots, ad campaigns, and oversaw the Graphics Department. Then I came to the Port of Long Beach to work on high profile environmental initiatives that includes the Clean Trucks Program, Sustainability at the Port, and International Trade.
Being a full-time day Designer is awesome, but being a creative, I secretly wish I was a famous food photographer, a world class pastry chef, a dog trainer, a dress maker, and an oil painter.
Instead of coming home everyday and sitting in front of the t.v., I decided to create design challenges to pursue my next next steps in my creative accomplishments.
