Paul

onight's post is about Paul. After my heart wrenching divorce, I thought this world was too unfair for me to have a second chance at love. I don't want to get into too much now of what I went through, but sometimes love happens again when you least expect it.

Paul and I by all text book definition shouldn't be compatible. We come from both different family backgrounds, time era, and... did I tell you we're 14 years apart? We listen to different music, have opposite taste in design, and have different choice of drinks (I'm a wine fanatic, he's an occasional jack and coke guy). He loves camping, I love staying at Four Seasons.

So, how did we come about?

I think it all lies in his eyes. His eyes speak the truth, and genuine love. He is kind at heart, and will put me in front of his needs. He's attentive, and still gives me his undivided attention when I blab about architecture and fashion- subjects he really doesn't care about. He is so different from me but he will change so that we can stay together. That is when I really fell hard for him. It was gradual love, with a strong foundation. This love grew because we both respect and care for each other. He gave me a home and made me feel secure and loved. We both understand that we are different but we accept each other.

He's my guy and I would do everything for him too.
