My friend is getting married and I decided to design and create their wedding invites. It's funny because as a Designer, I've done many event invites, holiday cards, and freelance stationary designs but never wedding invitations.
They are having a fall wedding- which I love because it allows me to play with a very rich color palette. The soon-to-be bride and groom wanted these invitations to be warm, welcoming, luxurious, and in fall foliage colors. I decided to use rich brown and metallic copper to bring out the sophistication of this wedding. Sometimes using brown tones can be dull and drabby. I certainly didn't want that for the wedding.
I wanted these invites to have a "wow" factor. I want the invitees to be excited and full of anticipation as you open the invite and see what's inside.
Congrats again to Bao and Dawn and I can't wait for their wedding day!
