The best thing for me about the holidays is getting cards in the mail that contain photos of my friends and of their family. It's great to see friends with their loved ones- all dolled up and gleam in happiness. The kids always grow up too fast- and my friends are frozen in time of sheer happiness.
When I was growing up, my family never took holiday portraits because my parents owned a retail store and the holidays were a peak season for sales. So I really appreciate family time during this holiday season.
So when I had a chance to shoot the Ratner family for Holidays, I was beyond thrilled.
