Cozumel, Mexico part uno

Getting to Cozumel from Los Angeles was quite a challenge. For some reason or another ( I suspect airline cutbacks) that you cannot get a direct flight into Cozumel anymore. From LAX to Cozumel direct is an easy flight of 5 hours - but we had to connect to Houston first- which is 3 hours from Los Angeles airport with a wide layover gap from Houston to Cozumel, Mexico. Because of the layover, our 5 hour trip took another 4 hours.
Mind you, this is the first time I've been to George Bush (IAH) airport...and like everyone says, everything in Texas is SO MUCH BIGGER. Luckily, we were able to chill out at the Presidents Club lounge for Continental before our flight. Free adult beverages, comfy couches, and cheese and cracker snacks, it was a great way to pass time before our flight.
