Mocha

This is the face I see when I wake up in the morning. This is Mocha, a corgi- chocolate lab mix mutt we rescued in February of '09. Paul and I was driving on a motorcycle, coming back from the Belmont Chocolate Festival for Valentines day. On the way home, we saw a huge sign that said, "Adoption day!".

Naturally, I needed a puppy fix. We weren't planning to adopt, but when Paul saw her, she made eye contact. Paul picked her up in his arms, and that was it. She became part of the family just like that.
